Hartville R-II SchoolThe Hartville R-II School District is located in Southwest Missouri about 60 miles east of Springfield along Highway 5. Hartville is the county seat of Wright County; which is located along the Woods Fork of the Gasconade River. Hartville R-II Schools contains 2 campuses:  The main campus includes a pre-school, elementary school, middle school, and high school.  The Grovespring campus includes a K-6 elementary school.

Hartville R-II School District is fully accredited by Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education; and has earned Missouri’s Distinction in Performance Award for 9 consecutive years.

The Hartville R-II School District’s mission is to provide a positive, caring, and safe educational environment for the intellectual, moral, physical, character, and social development of every student to graduate as productive, informed, innovative, involved, and technologically-literate citizens in a multifaceted, ever-changing, and demanding society.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a Federal law, requires that Hartville R-II School District, with certain exceptions, obtain your written consent prior to the disclosure of personally identifiable information from your child’s education records.  However, the Hartville R-II School District may disclose appropriately designated “directory information” without written consent, unless you have advised the District to the contrary in accordance with District procedures.  The primary purpose of directory information is to allow the Hartville R-II School District to include this type of information from your child’s education records in certain school publications.
